Milonguero Style

Danced in the crowded milongas of Buenos Aires, tango Milonguero style responds to the “ric-tic-tic” rhythm prominent in the music of Juan D'Arienzo or other orchestras from the golden era. It is extremely rich in body signals to the dance partner in order to compensate for the lack of space. It can be danced on one floor tile, or even in the same place with great passion, beautiful elegance and perfect syncopation without even losing the embrace or the rhythm. The physical and emotional chest to chest contact, along with a mutual enjoyment and respect for the beat and for the music generates an energy that flows and takes over the dance, sending an emotional meaning to the steps. The couple dances for their own personal enjoyment, and not for the show... not for the others.
